limpid

\LIM-pid\, adjective:
1. Characterized by clearness or transparency; clear; as, "a limpid stream."

--Sir Walter Raleigh's motives were as limpid as urine from a fresh water trout, assuming of course that said trout had drank nothing but fresh water that morning, or maybe vodka...

2. Calm; untroubled; serene.

--The stoic nimbus clouds, the stolid mountains, the silent hush of the surrounding redwoods; yes, perhaps the only thing that kept this Andalusian forest from being the most limpid place on earth, was the constantly-shrieking Antelope of Almeria.
